Rumi Montessori Training Centre was born from a vision to bring together two powerful educational philosophies — the timeless wisdom of Islamic education and the child-centred science of Montessori pedagogy.
Founded by Nusaibah Macadam, Rumi Montessori set out to fill a gap that had long existed in teacher training: a fully integrated, Islamic Montessori qualification. In 2024, that vision became reality with the launch of the world’s first ever Islamic Montessori Early Childhood Diploma — a pioneering programme that prepares teachers to support children’s development according to their fitrah (true nature), in alignment with Prophetic teachings and Dr Maria Montessori’s groundbreaking observations.
What began as a single diploma programme is the foundation of a growing training centre committed to raising the standard of early childhood education across the Muslim world and beyond.

Nusaibah holds a Masters in Montessori Education and is qualified across the 0–12 age range through MCI, CGMS, and AMI. With over 20 years of Montessori experience, she brings unparalleled depth of knowledge and a heartfelt commitment to Islamic early childhood education.
Founder of Happy Days Montessori in the UK and a veteran Montessori educator with over 36 years of experience. Margaret holds a Masters in Education and is qualified for the 3–12 age range. Her wealth of practical classroom experience and training expertise makes her an invaluable part of our team.
An AMI-qualified Montessori educator (0–6) with a Bachelor Honours degree in Early Childhood and Primary Education from Monash University. Amira brings over 5 years of hands-on Montessori teaching experience and a warm, supportive approach to teacher training.

Together they will guide you through everything you need to know — from Montessori theory and Islamic child development to hands-on classroom practice — leaving nothing out.
Rumi Montessori is committed to delivering teacher training that meets the highest international standards. Our diploma is designed in alignment with the standards of MACTE (Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education) — the globally recognised accreditation body for Montessori teacher training programmes.
Students who complete all aspects of the accredited diploma route will receive two certificates:

✅ Islamic Montessori 3–6 Diploma
Rumi Montessori Teacher Training Center is an Applicant in Good Standing for its 3-6 level, with the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE). Applicant in Good Standing status in no way determines the outcome of the accreditation decisions by MACTE.
