About the Course (Ages 3–6)

The Islamic Montessori Early Childhood Diploma is the world's first ever Montessori teacher training qualification delivered from a fully Islamic perspective. Designed for teachers who want to become qualified Montessori Early Childhood educators, this 18-month to 2-year programme combines Montessori pedagogy with the Islamic framework for child development.

This blended programme combines the best of both worlds. On-site sessions are held once a month on weekends in our Montessori classrooms in Seremban or Kuala Lumpur, with two residential sessions of 6–10 days each year. Online sessions run on a weekly basis and require 100% live participation.

Q: How is the course delivered?

A: The MACTE-accredited Islamic Montessori Diploma is delivered through a blended learning format, combining self-paced online study, live online classes, face-to-face residency training in Malaysia, and a supervised practicum.

Q: What does the online learning include?

A: The online component includes weekly pre-recorded lectures, one live online class each weekend, participation in discussion forums, weekly assignments, and independent study.

Q: How much time should I spend on the course each week?

A: Students should expect to commit approximately 7–10 hours per week to the online component, including watching lectures, attending live classes, participating in discussions, completing assignments, and independent study.

Q: Can I watch the recorded lectures whenever it suits me?

A: Yes. The pre-recorded lectures can be completed at your own pace each week. However, students are still required to attend the scheduled live online classes and meet weekly course deadlines.

Q: Is attendance required for the live online classes?

A: Yes. Attendance and active participation in the live online classes are compulsory aspart of the program requirements.

Q: What happens during the residency blocks?

A: The residency focuses on practical Montessori training, including material presentations, supervised practice, classroom observation, and practical assessments that cannot be completed online.

Q: Why is a practicum required?

A: The practicum allows students to apply Montessori theory in a real classroom setting while developing their teaching skills under the guidance of experienced Montessori educators.

Q: What if I can't travel to Malaysia?

A: Students who are unable to travel may enrol in the fully online Islamic Montessori Associate Diploma. This pathway includes the complete online curriculum but does not include the residency or practicum required for MACTE accreditation.
