This blended programme combines the best of both worlds. On-site sessions are held once a month on weekends in our Montessori classrooms in Seremban or Kuala Lumpur, with two residential sessions of 6–10 days each year. Online sessions run on a weekly basis and require 100% live participation.
The Islamic Montessori Early Childhood Diploma is the first ever Montessori teacher training programme delivered entirely from an Islamic perspective. Designed for teachers who want to make a real difference, this diploma prepares you to guide children’s development in alignment with their fitrah — their true, God-given nature.
Over 18 months to 2 years, you will study the full breadth of Montessori pedagogy — from Practical Life and Sensorial to Mathematics, Language, and Islamic Studies — all taught through the lens of Islamic education. You will graduate as a fully qualified Montessori Early Childhood Teacher, equipped with both the spiritual grounding and the practical skills to create a nurturing, authentic Montessori environment.

Assessment Requirements:
A: No prior Montessori experience is required. Our diploma is designed to take you from the foundations right through to a fully qualified practitioner. All you need is a high school qualification (equivalent to SPM, IGCSE or similar) and a genuine passion for working with young children.
A: The Accredited Diploma is our full qualification, designed to meet MACTE standards and includes mandatory face-to-face sessions in Malaysia. Upon completion you receive two certificates — the Montessori Early Childhood Diploma and the Islamic Montessori 3–6 Diploma. The Associate Diploma is suited to those joining fully online and results in a Rumi Montessori Diploma without MACTE accreditation.
A: Yes — the programme is designed with working teachers in mind. Online sessions run weekly and face-to-face sessions are held on weekends once a month, with two longer residency sessions per year. You will need to plan your 450 teaching practice hours around your schedule, but many of our students complete these within their existing school or classroom role.
